IGM Cryo Woodturning Roughing Gouge is used to roughen unprocessed material. Shape square material to round workpiece or simply take away material in bulk. Suitable for both beginners and professional turners. The 28×150 mm blade made of M2 high-speed steel is cryogenically treated, ensuring longer life, increased edge retention, and extreme resistance to high temperatures compared to conventional chisels. Cryogenic M2 steel is tempered to 63-65 HRC and will not burn even when turning very hard, dried wood. Ergonomic handle from beech wood is sturdy for comfort and confidence when turning.
